David J. Pollay wrote The Law of the Garbage Truck™ after an experience he had in a New York City taxicab nineteen years ago.  David has made it his mission to share The Law of the Garbage Truck™ philosophy with as many people as possible.  Millions of people from more than one hundred countries have experienced the power of The Law of the Garbage Truck™.  

David has been teaching his Law of the Garbage Truck™ internationally for almost two decades, and in 2006 he published The Law of the Garbage Truck™ in his newspaper column. David’s book, The Law of the Garbage Truck: How to take control of your life with one decision and change the world, will be published in September, 2010 by Sterling Publishing, a Barnes & Noble company.

As people commit to honoring David’s The No Garbage Trucks! Pledge, people become happier and civility increases.  People take control of their lives; they let the negative things they cannot control pass them by.  They focus on the good, and they address the challenges of life without accepting or dumping garbage.  

David’s short-format television program, The Law of the Garbage Truck™, has aired on stations across the United States, and has won top honors from the International Academy of the Visual Arts and the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
