Book clubs, bible study groups, business teams, and other reading groups are discussing and sharing The Law of the Garbage Truck. To help them lead their conversations, I included reading group guidelines in the book (pp 216-219). We have also put the reading group guidelines online for our audio book listeners. You can download the guidelines by clicking the link below.

I have been hearing so much about The Law of the Garbage Truck from friends and family; I am preordering the book. Everyone is so excited about it: It’s contagious. It is a great gift that you are giving to all of us, and if we take your message to heart, the world will be a better place. Thanks, Lil and friends

Thanks, Lil! I appreciate all the support. And thanks for sharing the message with your friends. We included reading group guidelines in the book, too. Having a discussion with your friends would be a lot of fun for you. The discussions would surely be thought-provoking and practical.

Keep in touch, Lil! It’s good to hear from you.

All the best,
David

A friend recently passed along the “Law of the Garbage Truck” story – I enjoyed the story and was curious to learn more, so I came across your site. Looking forward to your book! FYI – on your “Resources” page, the “pledge” and the “poster” links point to the same PDF (for the poster).

Thanks, Todd! Great to hear from you. Say hi to your friend. Let me know when you get the book…I know you’re really going to like it. It was released nationally last week. Check out our Facebook page for some of the latest news.

Hi David,
I just finished listening to the CD version of the book that I purchased when you spoke at Unity of Delray Beach. I am very impressed and would like to see my son’s school (Village Academy in Delray) actively adopt The Law of the Garbage Truck. The only thing I can’t seem to find online are the 2 questionnaires where the reader determines if they do the dumping or are dumped on too much. Where can I find them to download them? Thank you soooo much!

Good stuff, thanks!

Hi Carol,

Great to hear from you! I’m so glad you liked our program. And good news: I’ll be at the Village Academy on Tuesday presenting to the middle schoolers with our full-sized garbage truck!

Carol, check again our resources page…everything I wanted you to have should be right there for you. Enjoy!

All the best,
David

How does one purchase more of the cards that are found in the back of your book?

David J. Pollay January 18, 2011 at 12:19 pm

Hi Jack, The cards are principally available through each book. If you are interested in more, let me know more and I can share with you more about our available resources and programs. Thanks for the interest!

David

Great book! Everyone should read it and live it. I am a professor and I would like all our seniors who are in the Teacher Education program have these Pledge cards.

I would like to purchase 250 Pledge Cards. I find the card more substantial than the paper cards.

Thanks!

Brother Raymond

I loved the book and have put together a group at work to read it and have discussions. I tried to get to the “store” to buy some giveaways for our discussions however it says the sight can’t be found. Is there another way to find the gift items?

Thanks much.

TYVM you’ve sleovd all my problems

Mark July 26, 2011 at 6:43 pm

Thanks so much for writing this book, and especially the resources. I bought the audiobook and listened to it twice already. It’s nice to have the resources so that I don’t have to stop and write it all down. I scored with a heavy garbage load and by taking the pledge I already see positive changes in my life. Thanks again so much for improving my life!

David J. Pollay August 4, 2011 at 3:50 pm

Hi Mark,

Great to hear from you! I’m so glad you liked the audio book! Awesome about listening to it twice, and using the resources. Mark, stay in touch…and I may put up a note about you on our Facebook page.

Sending best,
David
