Twenty years ago, while riding in a New York City taxi, syndicated columnist and business consultant David J. Pollay narrowly escaped a life-threatening car crash. The driver who almost caused the accident started yelling at the cab driver, who remarkably just smiled, waved, and wished him well. Pollay asked how the cabbie could remain so calm, and his response sparked the defining principle of The Law of the Garbage Truck.

Over the past 20 years. David J. Pollay has shared the Law of the Garbage Truck with thousands of people in live events, in newspaper columns, on the web, and now in his new book, The Law of the Garbage Truck. As a result. people are happier at home, they’re more productive at work, and they’re kinder in their communities. So a No Garbage Trucks! movement has developed. People have committed to stop accepting garbage and to stop dumping garbage. Along the way people from more than 100 countries have taken The NO GARBAGE TRUCKS! Pledge.

We are interested in having a conference based on “Law of the Garbage Truck.” We are very impressed with the concept. We are a non-profit private corporation providing mental health and addiction counseling to adults in south central Montana. Many of our clients do not have insurance, so we depend on Medicare, VA, etc. and some charity care for our resources. We are interested in the cost involved. I sent an email March 5, but have not heard back. I would appreciate your prompt reply. Thank you.

All the best,
